Gary gained a great deal of practical knowledge and learnt a great deal from his peers making
him ready for the challenge of opening his own clinic, Letchworth Physiotherapy. Here is a brief description of his achievements.
1984:Obtained a diploma in remedial gymnastics and recreational therapy from Pinderfields College, Wakefield.
Completed a complementary course at the Bath School of Physiotherapy. During this time, he worked for the NHS at the Camden Medical Rehabilitation Centre during the day, and during the evening, for Mike Varney, physiotherapistfor Tottenham Hotspur FC and proprietor of the Chaseside Clinic, Enfield. He was also a physiotherapist for Hendon FC between 1984 and 1986.
Opened the Sportscare Physiotherapy Clinic atthe North Hert's Leisure Centre in Letchworth
Worked full time at Mike Varney's clinic in Enfield, but also continued to operate the clinicat Letchworth for two days a week.
December 1990: Opened his own clinic in Leys Avenue, Letchworth.
Moved to a larger premises which is our current address on Station Road. The clinic has now been established for 20 years and each year continues to grow.
